Border Patrol Agents Find ATVs Loaded with Marijuana in Southern Arizona

Two abandoned ATV’s were found Wednesday in a remote part of southern Arizona after U.S. Border Patrol Agents followed their tracks. The vehicles contained 25 bricks of marijuana, which weighed roughly 633 pounds and were worth an estimated $506,000.

The vehicles and drugs were seized by the agents. Since October 2009 until the end of last month, the border patrol in the Tuscon, AZ sector has seized some 622,000 pounds of pot, worth almost $500 million.
